The Preset 10 Architectural [PRE10A] is a lighting control station capable of storing up to ten presets. Presets are recorded by capturing the output of a DMX512 console. Each preset can then be assigned a unique fade time, from 0 to 999 seconds. Presets are recalled by pressing one of the buttons.
The solid aluminum faceplate is designed to install over a standard single gang electrical box. Connections to the PRE10A are power (2 wires), and DMX512 (3 wires). Power may be supplied from a variety of sources, including a 10V class 2 "doorbell" transformer.
Each PRE10A can work in conjunction with a lighting console, automatically switching between preset and console control. When the console generates DMX, the PRE10A goes off-line, and the console operates normally. Upon loss of DMX from the console, the PRE10A either returns to its previous preset or holds the last look (jumper selectable).
There are two versions of software available: PRE10A and PRE10A-POPO. The original PRE10A offers "Radio Button" operation, where only one preset may be active at time. The new PRE10A-POPO offers ten HTP presets. Each of these ten HTP presets are capable of being turned ON or OFF individually.
