After nearly 50 years, Pacific Northwest Theatre Associates (PNTA) has gone bankrupt. (See our FAQ here) They had a rich history and were well loved.

Who is Bellevue Lighting?

Founded in 2019 by lighting designer Kevin Nash, Bellevue Lighting is a full service event production, systems integration, rental, repair, and drape shop. Bellevue Lighting is also a full theatrical supply shop through our site Gear.Shop.

Bellevue Lighting has hired a host of former PNTA employees including Karl Treibs and Richard Buckley to help us serve you, our local community.

Kevin Nash, an award-winning theatrical designer, founded Bellevue Lighting in 2019. Under his leadership, the company has grown to an 8,000-square-foot space, employing 12 full-time professionals. Bellevue Lighting continues to thrive as a hub for event production, systems integration, rentals, repairs, and retail.

Did Bellevue Lighting purchase the PNTA company?

No, Bellevue Lighting did not purchase the company. PNTA allowed their domain registration for pnta.com to lapse from non-payment. Bellevue Lighting participated in a bidding process to purchase this domain.

I ordered product(s) from PNTA.com and I never received it!

Right now, the best bet is to file a chargeback claim with your bank or credit card company.

I have an event scheduled with PNTA, what do I do?

Reach out to our events dept, we would be happy to help. Please note, if you already paid a deposit, we cannot honor that, as we have no access to it either.

I am a manufacturer/vendor and PNTA owes us money!

PNTA is in bankruptcy court, we recommend retaining legal counsel to pursue any potential damages in court.

I usually get our gear serviced by PNTA, what do I do now?

We have good news! Karl Treibs, PNTA’s lead technician, now works for Bellevue Lighting and we would be happy to work with you to service or repair any gear you have.

Our drapes need to be inspected / need repair, what do I do?

Bellevue Lighting has a full drape shop and we would be happy to work with you on any inspections, maintenance, repair or replacement of your venue’s drapes.

PNTA was our go-to for equipment rental, where do I go now?

Bellevue Lighting also has an extensive rental department. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to get you a quote for rental equipment.

PNTA had a storefront stocked with theatre expendables for those last minute needs, where can I go now?

Bellevue Lighting has a small storefront with your standard theatrical expendables like gaff tape, gels, lamps, and more. We are open 11am to 3pm Mon-Fri.
