Rosco SubFloor was developed and tested by dancers to insure the perfect combination of resilience (spring or bounce) and stability. It is flexible enough to absorb the energy from a dancer's impact but provides the right amount of resistance for dance movements ranging from ballet to tap, including folk, modern, Flamenco and Irish dancing.
Most users will be able to install the Rosco SubFloor on their own. The 42" x 42" (3.5 ft. x 3.5 ft.) panels lock into each other with the unique WaveLock® design. Panels weigh only 44 pounds each. Perimeter pieces, 4 3/8" wide, lock the entire floor together. The perimeter of Rosco SubFloor systems can be bolted to concrete or wood floors and can also be removed and re-used in case of a change in venue.
An integral part of the Rosco SubFloor system is the 4.5" diameter closed cell foam pads. These 1" thick pads are affixed at specific locations on the underside of each SubFloor panel. This, combined with the Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) construction of the panels, utilizing our patented WaveLock® technology, yields superb resilience and dimensional stability.

All Rosco Floors, including the Rosco SubFloor with Wave Lock Technology, are guaranteed by Rosco Laboratories, Inc. to be free from manufacturing defects in both material and workmanship. Rosco recommends inspection of all flooring upon arrival and prior to installation. If a defect is discovered the customer must notify Rosco directly as soon as possible after the defect is discovered. A representative will inspect the complaint as soon as possible after it is received. If Rosco Laboratories, in its sole discretion, determines the material to be defective within five years of purchase (three years for Reversible Dance Floor), it will supply sufficient material (comparable grade and color) to replace the defective material. Rosco Laboratories, Inc. will not bear any replacement costs or original installation costs.
This guarantee is in lieu of all other expressed guarantees. It covers the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
Complaints caused by faulty installation, obvious abuse, improper maintenance (including use of non-specified cleaners and polishes), normal wear and tear, burns, gouges, cuts or indentations caused by improper floor protectors and furniture rests, will not be considered a just claim.
Problems caused by moisture, hydrostatic pressure, excessive alkali in a concrete slab, cracks in concrete slab, the use of adhesives, cleansers or finishes other than those recommended by Rosco Laboratories, Inc., improper underlayments or uneven wood substrates and other uses contrary to Rosco Laboratories, Inc.'s recommendations are cause to void this guarantee.
